Vintage Sister: Lip Lickers

I've heard about a very popular lip balm item from the 70's called Lip Lickers that would come housed in a little slide top tin and house a deliciously scented and flavored lip balm inside. Vintage Sister, a company owned by a woman named Dawn whose beauty obsession started with lip balms, creates her own version of the iconic beauty product sparked by a bit of nostalgia upon finding an old tin of hers. I've ordered a few different of the flavors and have to say, its some of the best tasting lip balm and the cute little tin doesn't hurt either! She is currently running a 20% off everything with discount code Blues20 but its only good today through March 6th so you'll have to order soon!
Dawn carries a line of permanent flavors, and then does seasonal ones a few times a year, including Summer, Halloween, and Christmas. The balms come in their own slide top .25 oz tin for $3.95. Some of her current flavors include Lemon Cheesecake, Fruit Punch, PB & J, Gummy Bear, Red Hot, Root Beer, Sno Cone, Watermelon, and Orange Dream. She also has a line called Le Cafe (more grown up flavors like Chai Tea, Mochachino, and Red Velvet Cake) and Cocktails (including Margarita, Cosmopolitan, and Strawberry Daiquiri). Also, sign up for her newsletter or Like her on Facebook to keep up with the flavors she brings back every once in a while: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vintage-Sister/152294826911
Periodically, she offers a trio of seasonal lip lickers for $12.00 but the three individual tins come housed in a larger tin and offer flavors you can't buy on their own. Currently Vintage Sister has the Bahama Mama trio that includes Blue Hawaii, Island Delight, and Mango Tango.

  1. I actually had these, as a kid. I think at one point I had green apple and maybe lemon, or something. They were so cool, but then you know how I am about packaging. ;)

    1. Its the tin that brings you in and the lip balm that keeps you coming back! I never tried the original ones but Vintage Sister's are pretty good.
