With my eyelashes the one thing I always want more of is more-more volume, more length- and today I have a trick to help give that extra bit of oomph. You may have tried those tubing or two step mascaras that have a primer, and this does basically the same thing-gives more surface area for your mascara to stick to and builds up with it.
All you need is a flat brush-like a smudge or brow brush, eyeshadow in black or brown (I find it best to match the color of the mascara you'll be using) and mascara.

Take your filled brush and run it from the base of your eye lashes up, coating them in a thin layer of eye shadow:
Then put your mascara on as normal, making sure to let each coat dry before adding another. Here are my lashes after one coat of eye shadow and two coats of bareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara in black.
