Spring Nails: Polka Dots

Today I thought I'd do a quick and easy nail tutorial on something fun and springy. Polka dots seemed perfect!
You'll need a color for the background and a color for the dots, plus a base and top coat. I chose a pale blue with cream color dots.

Sally Hanson Hard as Nails Base Coat $3.99 and Essi's Good To GO fast dry top coat $8

Sinful Colors Sail La Vie as the background color $1.99

Zoya's Jacqueline for the dots $9

Next you'll need a tool to create the dots. You can use a tooth pick, a doting tool (you can pick these up at beauty supply stores or find them online), or you can make your own.
To make your own all you need is a pencil with an eraser and a straight pin, stick the pin in the eraser and TA DAH! instant doting tool.

Paint your nails the background color and allow to fully dry.

Next take your dot color and pour a little onto a place so you can dip your doting tool in and just lightly tap your nail randomly all over. Don't worry if they're different sizes, it'll still look cute!
